The PETAL Project is a community-centered environmental program that blends art, education, and conservation.
We cultivate environmental care and concern in our communities
We develop actions aimed at protecting the environment
We combine expressions of our creativity and imagination in restorative practices
We grow our environmental knowledge and community-building skills together
We provide environmental education resources, classes, workshops, consultations, collaborations, and interactive, experiential, and creative learning opportunities.
Our goal is to provide creative and educational opportunities to cultivate purposeful community environmental literacy.
PETALS
are shaped to attract pollinators and cultivate mutual relationships.
Together, we take part in purposeful participation to learn about environmental issues and take actions to protect the environment. We do this through creative skills, imaginative expression, community education, and lifelong learning.
