Do you want to use Texas-native plants in your garden? Do you want to attract pollinators while adding adapted plants?

Our Educators

PETAL Educators offer their unique skills to the community in order to cultivate environmental action and nurture caring relationships with the living and nonliving entities we share the environment with.

Sarah Jay is an environmental educator, researcher, and writer with over 10 years experience in studying medicinal plant properties. Texas Master Naturalist.
Alex Khraish is an artist and environmentalist with experience teaching multiple mediums while incorporating native plants and garden techniques with art practices.
